The Mum Cheptoo Foundation (MCF) is a registered community-based organization working at the intersection of menstrual health, mental wellbeing, and women’s empowerment in Kericho County.
We provide menstrual health resources for girls and create safe spaces for boys to be heard, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive without limitations.
Our programs are shaped by listening—to the voices, needs, and realities of the women and girls we serve. We ground our work in evidence, best practices, and lessons learned through implementation. Women’s health and empowerment aren’t charity; they’re human rights we’re committed to upholding.
Driven by passion, guided by vision
To empower young girls by providing access to menstrual health resources, education, and support — ensuring no girl is held back by her period.
To uplift boys by creating safe spaces where they are heard, supported, and equipped with the tools to become compassionate community leaders.
A world where every girl and boy has the dignity, confidence, resources, and opportunity to thrive — free from stigma, shame, and limitations that hold them back from reaching their full potential.
We don’t just deliver programs—we create lasting change by doing things differently.

Girls gain dignity through menstrual health resources. Boys find safe spaces to be heard and supported. We believe true empowerment happens when every child thrives—without barriers, without limitations.

We listen first, then act. Our programs are shaped by the voices of women, girls, boys, and local leaders—ensuring solutions are culturally rooted, deeply relevant, and built to last.

Our work doesn’t stop when a program ends. We train teachers, equip local leaders, and establish structures that continue transforming lives long after we leave. Sustainability is our foundation.

Every dignity kit distributed, every safe conversation held, every girl who stays in school—we track it all. Our commitment to measurable outcomes ensures your support creates real, lasting change.
We empower girls through menstrual health resources and create safe spaces where boys can be heard. Every child deserves the chance to thrive—without barriers, without limitations, and with the support they need to reach their full potential.
Period poverty shouldn’t determine a girl’s future. We provide dignity kits, menstrual health education, and school-based support programs that ensure girls stay in class, stay confident, and pursue their dreams without shame or interruption.
Boys deserve safe spaces to express themselves, share their struggles, and receive support. Through mentorship circles and community programs, we help boys develop emotional resilience, build healthy relationships, and become compassionate leaders in their communities
Lasting change requires community ownership. We work alongside schools, families, healthcare providers, and local leaders to build sustainable systems that continue transforming lives long after we leave. When communities lead, impact multiplies

We believe that every child deserves access to quality resources and opportunities.
By addressing barriers like period poverty and lack of support systems, we ensure girls and boys can focus on learning and growing.

We respect and uphold the dignity of every child we serve.
Through our menstrual health programs and safe spaces for boys, we create environments where children feel valued, heard, and supported. Dignity isn’t something to be earned—it’s a fundamental right we’re committed to protecting.

We focus on making tangible, measurable differences in children’s lives.
Every dignity kit distributed, every safe conversation facilitated, and every barrier removed represents real change. We track outcomes, listen to feedback, and continuously refine our approach to ensure our work creates lasting transformation in communities.

Every donation, every volunteer hour, every share — it adds up to real change.
